Connection to the region:
Since moving to Zurich in 2022, I have been actively connecting with the local dance community. In 2024, I showed my solo Smell of Cement at Zürcher Theater Spektakel, which was an important moment of visibility and dialogue with local audiences

Motivation for participating in TPO ChoreoLab:
I want to test ideas for my new piece Undeclared Work, get feedback, connect locally, and grow my dance practice in a supportive, collective space at ChoreoLab.

Artistic lines of enquiry / topic I am working on:
In my current work, I explore the connection between labor and dance —how the repetitive gestures of physical work, especially in construction, can become choreographic material. I focus on rhythm, endurance, and breath, revealing the emotional and physical layers behind everyday labor movements. My current piece centers on the lives and gestures of immigrant construction workers and is the third chapter of my series Labor Work – Between Work and Dance. Through this work, I aim to transform real labor into dance, highlighting its hidden poetry, intensity, and humanity.

The following choreographers inspire me:
Pina Bausch, Damien Jalet, Akram Khan, Leïla Ka

The most amazing piece(es), I have ever seen:
Pina Bausch’s The Rite of Spring was the piece that made me want to dance.

If I hadn't become a choreographer/dancer, I would be:
a filmmaker, a sunflower seller or farmer

If I were an animal, I would be:
a bird
